Projects

Projects are the heart of permissions management in Cyberwatch.

Each asset can belong to one and only one project. Cyberwatch users can have access to zero, one or more projects.

Users can view all resources associated with a project to which they have access.

This section describes how to create and modify projects.

The edit button represented by the pencil is used to modify project information. Finally, click on the number of assets belonging to the project to view the complete list of assets and their information.

Assigning a project

There are several ways of assigning a project, either in the asset information or simultaneously with Bulk edits.

The different ways of doing this are described below.

Via the asset page

From the assets page, the information column can be modified using the edit button symbolized by a pencil. Select the project in which to store the asset in the Project section.

Via Bulk edits

You can assign projects to assets via Inventory Bulk edits. To do this, select the desired assets and click on the Bulk edits button, then Project management in the drop-down menu.
