Deployment and reboot policies

Deployment and reboot policies are used to define the days and time ranges during which one or more assets can install patches and/or reboot via Cyberwatch.

Create and manage deployment and reboot policies

Deployment and reboot policies management is available in the Settings > Deployment and reboot policies menu.

To create a deployment and reboot policy, click on Add.

  • The “Type” field is used to choose the type of policy to create (deploying or rebooting policy).
  • The “Name” field is used to identify the policy.
  • The “Recurrence” field defines the days during which the policy will be launched.
  • The “Start time” and “End time” fields define the time range during which the asset(s) are allowed to apply patches or reboot.
  • The “Scheduling mode” field defines the way the policy will be launched:
    • In manual mode, the policy is used as a default value when planning to reboot or deploy patches on the assets.
