Customizing the inventory

On the asset inventory, clicking on the customization button (the “Layers” icon) to the left of the Export button opens a modal that allows you to customize the asset table:

Whatever changes are made in this modal, it is necessary to save to validate the changes made.

Using presets

A preset corresponds to a particular configuration of the displayed columns. There are three, each is adapted to a context:

  • Vulnerabilities,
  • Compliance,
  • Default (for an overview).

Clicking on a preset allows to modify the displayed columns and reorder them in the initial order. Don’t forget to save the changes made. When leaving the modal, unsaved changes are lost.

Using the list of columns

To further customize the asset table, the list of columns allows you to:

  • Select the columns you want to display in the asset table,
  • And reorder them.

Change the visibility of a column by clicking on the “Eye” icon on the right. To reorder the columns, drag and drop the columns into the list using the icon on the left. Don’t forget to save to validate the changes made.

Adding a metadata column

It is possible to add custom columns to display asset metadata. To add such a column:

  1. Select a metadata, the number displayed on the right indicates the number of assets on which this metadata is present.
  2. Optional Change the name of the column, by default, it takes the name of the metadata.
  3. Click on the Add button, the column is added at the bottom of the list of columns.
  4. Optional Change its position in the list of columns.
  5. Save.

The new column behaves like the default columns, it is possible to modify its visibility and position. However, it can be deleted from the list of columns and when using a preset, it is moved to the end of the list of columns and made invisible.
